We have now stayed for two consequetive Autumn The location is idyllic, there is ample and easy parking. However, the most important factor is the Hostesses attention to detail and her welcoming hospitality is unsurpassed with the added delight of home baked cookies. The rooms are extremely attactive and comfortable, the overall ambiance is tasteful and luxurious - breakfast is also a hearty treat!

We were most fortunate to choose the delightful home of Lynda & Ian Thompson for our stay in the borders from 13th to 20th Sept 2009. We can only endorse the comments already given by Bob & Ivy Sheffield since it is difficult to improve on being perfect. The five star rating is fully deserved and more.

Courtesy second to none, comfort paramount. Service cannot be beat. Lady Lynda and her spouse are the cream. Go there again given the time and the chance.
