The Old Priory
The Old Priory is a Georgian town house, recommended by Trip Advisor and Lonely Planet, in the centre of Kelso, fronting Woodmarket and backing onto Abbey Row. Minutes from the local restaurants and shops in the town. We have parking for 3-4 cars in our walled garden. The Old Priory has 3 rooms, furnished and finished to a high standard of comfort, all are en-suite. Percale bed linen, memory foam bed toppers and large fluffy towels, hair-dryers, tea and coffee making facilities, biscuits and toiletries are standard - we like comfort and expect to give our guests the same.

In all honesty I only believe half of what I read but I was bowled over with The Old Priory. I have stayed in other places in the town, so I know the standard but this place has it all. Taste, style, the little extras that say so much and what I liked best was that I was left to my own devices, so unobtrusive was the service, no questions about your reasons for being here just good old fashioned courtesy.

The previous reviewer gave it six stars, can I give it more?

A delight, fabulous, all of the things that Trip Advisor reviewers have said.

It has to be the atmosphere and the attention to detail. I went there a bit frazzled and found that the calmness, tastefulness and courtesy had me soporific by the first morning.

Six stars or more. I love this place, the Borders and the fabulous space of the area. I will be back
